Umbausätze für Hinterachs-Achsschenkel vom RX-8 auf den MX-5 NC. Es ist bekannt, dass die Lager und Radnabenflansche des MX-5 bei starker Beanspruchung verschleißen können. Der Umbau auf RX-8-Hinterachs-Achsschenkel ist die kostengünstigste Lösung, um diese Schwachstelle des MX-5 zu beheben.
Der RX-8 verfügt über ein größeres Lagergehäuse mit größeren Lagern und einem dickeren Flansch und ist im Vergleich zu den MX-5-Einheiten deutlich robuster konstruiert. Für diese Modifikation werden zwei spezielle Wellen benötigt, die ein RX-8-Außengelenk verwenden. Dieses findet sich jedoch nur bei Automatikgetrieben, die in Großbritannien nicht erhältlich sind. Ich importiere die passenden Komponenten für diese Modifikation in großen Mengen aus Japan und liefere alle Teile, die für die direkte Montage der RX-8-Achsschenkel an Ihrem MX-5 erforderlich sind. So können Sie beruhigt über die Bordsteine brettern und eine neue Bestzeit anstreben!
Im Lieferumfang enthalten:
- 2 x RX-8 / MX-5 gebrauchte Antriebswellen (Frankenstein-Modifikation) - importiert aus Japan
- 2 gebrauchte Hinterachsschenkel für RX-8 – importiert aus Japan
- 2 x MX-5 ABS-Distanzadapter
- 2 x MX-5 neue ABS-Sensoren (Nachbau)
- 2 x neue Hinterradlager für RX-8 (Original SKF)
- 2 x RX-8 gebrauchte Radnaben und neue Original Mazda Radbolzen (verlängerte Radbolzen optional erhältlich)
- 2 x Neue originale Mazda-Zehenklemmbolzen mit Mutter
- 2 x Differentialstopfen (um den Flüssigkeitsverlust und das Eindringen von Schmutz während des Umbaus zu begrenzen)
Alle Teile werden auf Beschädigungen geprüft, vollständig demontiert, sandgestrahlt und anschließend wieder zusammengebaut. Wir importieren nicht nur die Antriebswellen, sondern auch die Achsschenkel aus Japan. Erfahrungsgemäß korrodieren britische Achsschenkel aufgrund des im Winter verwendeten Streusalzes stark. Japanische Achsschenkel hingegen sehen nach der Reinigung fast wie neu aus und weisen kaum oder gar keine Korrosion auf.
HINWEIS: Die serienmäßige Gummibuchse des Längslenkers wird im Rahmen der Demontage entfernt (und nicht wieder eingebaut) und zur Selbstmontage verpackt geliefert. Kugelgelenke oder Polyurethanbuchsen sind auf Anfrage erhältlich. Bitte teilen Sie uns dies vor dem Lackieren und der Montage mit.
Overview:
RX-8 to MX-5 NC rear knuckle conversion parts. It's well known that the MX-5 bearings and hub flanges are prone to collapse through hard driving. The RX-8 rear knuckle conversion is the best value modification to remedy this MX-5 weakness.
The RX-8 uses a larger bearing housing with larger bearings and a thicker flange, and is much stronger in design over the MX-5 units. This modification requires a Frankenstein pair of shafts which uses a RX-8 outer joint, only found on the automatics, which are not available in the UK. I bulk import the correct components from Japan for the modification and supply all of the components to allow a direct fit of the RX-8 knuckles onto your MX-5. Providing peace of mind when you're hitting the curbs going for a PB!
What's Included:
- 2 x RX-8 / MX-5 pre-used driveshaft Frankenstein modification - imported from Japan
- 2 x RX-8 pre-used rear knuckles - imported from Japan
- 2 x MX-5 ABS spacer adapter
- 2 x MX-5 new ABS Sensors (non-genuine)
- 2 x RX-8 new rear wheel bearings (genuine SKF Made in Japan)
- 2 x RX-8 pre-used wheel hub and new Genuine Mazda wheel studs (extended studs available as an option)
- 2 x New genuine Mazda toe pinch bolt with nut
- 2 x Diff bungs (to limit the loss of fluid and ingress of dirt as you carry out the conversion)
Imported from Japan:
All parts are checked for damage, stripped of all components, before being vapour blasted and rebuilt. It's worth making note that we don't just import the drive shafts, but we also import the knuckles from Japan. We have found UK rear knuckles experience excessive corrosion due to the salt used on our winter roads. Japanese knuckles, once cleaned up look almost new with very little, if any corrosion present.
Note:
The standard rubber trailing arm bush is removed (and not reinstalled) as part of the strip-down process and shipped ready for your own bush installation. We can supply spherical pillowball or poly bush options, which are available upon request. We need to be aware of this prior to paint and reassembly.
