Fuel Pressure Regulator Delete for the Mazda MX-5 ND and RF is intended for use when converting the factory dead-head fuel system to a return-style setup, common in engine swap applications. When an external fuel pressure regulator is added, the original in-tank regulator becomes unnecessary and should be removed and blanked off to ensure correct system operation.
This block-off plug replaces the factory in-tank fuel pressure regulator, allowing fuel pressure to be controlled exclusively by an external regulator. Installation is straightforward and requires no permanent modification, with the original O-rings reused to ensure a proper seal.
While this is listed for ND and RF, it replaces OEM PN: CA01-13-280 and CY03-13-280, found in the following models. Furthermore, these are a OEM Denso cartridge regulators found inside of many in-tank fuel pump cartridges, used by OEMs and you might find our blanking plug fits your model.
