Our disk brake cooling backing plates are specifically designed to fit the MX-5 NC and RX-8 marques and utilise
NOTE: Our version 2 backing plates are now in stock for immediate shipment. Improvements provide larger brake disk coverage, keeping critical dust boots better protected. Suitable for MX5, RX-8 and most 4-6 piston setups.

Note:
We've seen some companies using plastic as part of their backing plate design. The glass transition point for a lot of plastics is 80 ~105 °C, and backing plates can easily see 100–200 °C+ in sustained braking, with localised hotspots being higher. After a hard session, heat soak often pushes temperatures even further. The result is softening, creep, deformation, or complete failure of the hose spigot. Our blacking plates are 100% stainless 304 for consistent performance.
