Brake Caliper Rebuilds

The MX5 NC has single piston brake calipers front and rear as standard. These do ok when paired with high-carbon brake disks and a track-focused brake pad.

That said, calipers need to be maintained and seals need replacing over time and for endurance racing or performance-enhanced cars the standard calipers start to show their weakness.

We can assist with full caliper strip down and rebuild services using new seals and pistons where required, this also includes the caliper carrier bracket which is often overlooked and neglected.

Our standard service includes zinc-plating which brings the calipers back to showroom condition. As an addition to this we can also enamel paint the calipers to your required colour. This service is offered either as an outright purchase or a sale and return where your old calipers are returned to us for a partial refund.

We can offer this service for MX5 NC and RX8 brake calipers, should you wish to upgrade your calipers for larger disks for more extreme braking conditions.
