Fuel Pressure Regulator Delete for the Mazda MX-5 NC and RX-8, is intended for use when converting the factory dead-head fuel system to a return-style setup. When an external fuel pressure regulator is added, the original in-tank regulator becomes unnecessary and should be removed and blanked off to ensure correct system operation.
This block-off plug replaces the factory in-tank fuel pressure regulator, allowing fuel pressure to be controlled exclusively by an external regulator. Installation is straightforward and requires no permanent modification, with the original O-rings reused to ensure a proper seal.
